Beep is a complete event ticketing platform built with Java and designed for both event attendees and organizers. Users can sign up with verified emails, log in, and browse a clean homepage displaying upcoming events with details such as date, location, and price. The booking process is smooth, with user details auto-filled and payments handled securely through Paystack. Once payment is complete, attendees receive a one-time scannable QR ticket instantly on their device and by email, along with automated reminders as the event date approaches.
For organizers and buyers of the system, Beep provides a professional admin dashboard that gives real-time insights into ticket sales, revenue, and user activity. Admins can create and manage events, oversee ticket purchases, export sales data, and control user accounts, all from one centralized platform.
The system is built with Java Spring Boot on the backend, JavaFXÂ on the frontend, and Supabase (PostgreSQL) for real-time data consistency. Secure payments are powered by Paystack, while notifications run through Firebase Cloud Messaging. QR codes are generated with Zxing, ensuring one-time scan validation for each ticket.
Beep combines modern design with robust security, including encrypted data, strong authentication policies, and restricted admin access. With smooth animations, support for light and dark modes, and high responsiveness across devices, Beep offers a reliable and user-friendly solution for ticketing in Ghana and beyond.
