PLAIN-LANGUAGE POLICY
Cookie policy
Offscript uses necessary storage for core features and loads privacy-conscious product analytics only after you allow it.

What we use
Cookies are small browser records. Similar technologies include local storage. Authentication cookies may be set when account services are configured so that sign-in remains secure. A first-party cookie remembers your analytics choice. On-device storage remembers practice settings, recently shown topics, and temporary research notes.
Strictly necessary storage
Necessary authentication, security, load-balancing, and preference storage enables features you request and cannot be switched off through a consent banner. You can remove it through your browser, but sign-in and saved preferences may stop working.
Optional product analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics,” PostHog records limited product events such as page views, mode selection, topic generation, and timer completion. Autocapture and session recording are disabled. We do not send research notes, prompt text, reflections, or form contents. PostHog remains uninitialized until consent is granted, and declining does not block practice.
Third-party services
Payment or authentication pages opened at your request may use their own necessary cookies under their policies. Offscript does not currently embed third-party videos, social feeds, or advertising widgets.
Your controls
Choosing “Review analytics choice” withdraws the current choice, stops PostHog persistence if it was active, and shows the consent choice again. You can inspect, block, or delete cookies and site storage in browser settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent account features from working. For questions, contact privacy@thetribeland.com.
